Savage: Stolen White Goods

Published alongside the exhibition Savage: Stolen White Goods in 2005 at Ikon Gallery.

Touching upon notions of generosity in the advent of Christmas, Savage explored issues of consumerism, ownership, and possession.

Stolen White Goods was a project in which the artist allegedly stole and photographed several white items from a supermarket including milk, lard, mayonnaise, and flour.
