This small catalogue was published in 2011.
It is a collection of images of postcards made by artists from all over the world in response to the major earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster that occured on 11 March 2011 in Japan.
Power supplies landlines, mobile phone networks and internet access went down. Making it extremely difficult to contact friends and family. The Japanese postal service - Japan Post- was quickly up and running again. In many cases the first news that loved ones were safe was by postcard.
